Tips for triploidy:
People 69, XXX, 69, XXY and 69, XYY abort spontaneously and a limited number are born.
These babies have severe delayed intrauterine growth. Sin daktili (finger sticking) is common.
Cases due to the presence of two groups of paternal chromosomes are aborted early or mid-pregnancy and are accompanied by minor hydatiform changes.
Cases with two parent chromosomes are more likely to survive but rarely reach infancy.
Hypomelanosis of Ito:
Children with diploid / triploid mosaicism may show weaker triploid symptoms.
In another form of symptoms known as Hypomellanosis Ito, the skin has a pattern of pigmented streaks and pigmented body that corresponds to the developmental lines of the skin's embryonic period called the Blasco lines.
Affected children have moderate to severe learning and seizures.
A similar pattern of skin discoloration is seen in women with dominant x-linked disorders such as Nentia pigment incontinence.
